Music Project:Creating images/lines to the song rhythm/beat/lyrics and using different techniques

When I was drawing these designs I didn't just listen to the rhythm of the song but I also listen to the beat and lyrics, creating a final imagine for the first design shown. The song talked about being confused and also talked about drug consumption so I created this image in my head of what I wanted it to be. The lines where then created to the beat of the song if the song was calm or relaxed with a non high pitch I would make a lines which where more round and loose, if the song changed beat to a more faster pace higher pitch with sharper notes I would make straighter lines or jagged lines if the song started to have a tapping beat I would add dots and I would do the same for every other design, for my last design there where no lyrics so I decided to create a story of my own showing the journey of the song. The designs kind of drew them selfs and thats what I was looking for. Although I could really work on my creativity when it comes to things such as paint I need to learn more on how to use a brush creatively. So far the project has taught me how to listen to the rhythm, beat and lyrics which will definitely be needed as I continue on this music brief.
